Performance Monitoring Of Diabetic Patient Systems

چکیده
The minimum variance performance measure is applied to two diabetic patient models under simulated fault scenarios. The Bergman Model and the Automated Insulin Dosage Advisor (AIDA), are controlled in the Internal Model Control (IMC) framework to achieve adequate blood glucose levels. The focus of this paper is to reect the importance and feasibility of implementing a detection and diagnosis tool such as the minimum variance performance benchmark to an implantable device for diabetics to guarantee adequate control of blood glucose levels. Development, and evaluation of drug monitoring system for multiple sclerosis patients
Background and Aim: Taking a wide range of medications in Multiple sclerosis (MS) patients can lead to side effects and drug interactions. Therefore, the use of intelligent systems such as drug monitoring systems can help in the effective and timely treatment of MS disease. In this regard, the present study was conducted to design, development, and evaluation of the drug monitoring system for m...
متن کاملA risk adjusted self-starting Bernoulli CUSUM control chart with dynamic probability control limits
Usually, in monitoring schemes the nominal value of the process parameter is assumed known. However, this assumption is violated owing to costly sampling and lack of data particularly in healthcare systems. On the other hand, applying a fixed control limit for the risk-adjusted Bernoulli chart causes to a variable in-control average run length performance for patient populations with dissimilar...

Building performance simulation is being increasingly deployed beyond the building design phase to support efficient building operation. Specifically, the predictive feature of the simulation-assisted building systems control strategy provides distinct advantages in view of building systems with high latency and inertia. Such advantages can be exploited only if model predictions can be relied u...

In today's business environment in which coordination and adaptation with constant changes are the only ways of survival, real-time monitoring of activities and making the decisions accordingly are necessary. Since performance measurement cannot be managed independent of business processes, Business Activity Monitoring (BAM) systems should monitor performance metrics based on business processes...
